AI in media, communication and marketing – economic, social and legal perspectives

AI in media, communication and marketing – economic, social and legal perspectives

by PR Network 09 April, 2025

A scientific book on AI with four articles from authors of the Public Relations Network (PRN)

The edited volume examines the current global use of artificial intelligence in the communications sector from an economic, social and legal perspective. The recipients’ view of artificial intelligence products is also empirically examined. What are their expectations, idiosyncrasies and attitudes towards artificial intelligence and its diverse applications? In addition to scientific analyses, the articles also cover current trends from the perspective of practitioners and experts. The critical and analytical examination of AI applications in sub- and popular culture rounds off the entire volume.

The book contains, among other things, technical articles on the use of AI in the USA, Hong Kong, Vietnam and Germany. These are by Jennifer Gehrt and Colleen Alderman of Communiqué PR in Seattle, Belinda Chan of CCG in Hong Kong, Tuong-Minh Ly-Le and Viet Tho Le of EloQ Communications in Ho Chi Minh City and Veit Mathauer of Sympra in Stuttgart. Veit Mathauer is one of the book’s editors.
