Berlinda Chan

Belinda Chan, Managing Director at Creative Consulting Group – China

After graduating from the Department of Journalism and Communications at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Belinda started her career as a financial news reporter. She then went onto co-found the Creative Consulting Group focusing on providing strategic advice on corporate communications and media relation initiatives. In addition to her agency experience, Belinda has headed the PR and marketing team at Authosis Inc., an investment advisory consultant focusing on the technology and media industries in Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Veit Mathauer, Managing Partner at Sympra – Germany

Having worked as a freelancer in the PR department of a telecommunication company, for an ICT magazine and for an advertising agency, Veit Mathauer co-founded Sympra in 1992. Besides being a Managing Partner of the agency, he is also a lecturer at the Institute for Communications Sciences at the University of Hohenheim and a member of the German Public Relations Council (DRPR).

Colleen Alderman, Co-Founder of Communiqué PR – the USA

Colleen Alderman, co-founder of Communiqué PR, leads public relations programs for key clients and oversees agency operations. Colleen has a proven track record in business-to-business public relations, corporate brand building and product reviews. She holds strong relationships with journalists at national business publications, industry trades and local news organizations. Colleen is the co-author of Strategic Public Relations: 10 Principles to Harness the Power of PR. She is a speaker on the topics of public relations, social media and the changing media landscape.

Héctor Iván Lira Hevia, Partner at F1rstcomm – Mexico and Panama

Hector is a Marketing Communications professional with over 20 years of experience designing, implementing and leading strategic marketing and communications programs. He has led campaigns in Mexico and Latin America for brands such as adidas, Pfizer, Reebok, Siemens, and DHL, among others. As an entrepreneur in 2007, he founded F1rstcomm a Strategic Communications agency specialized in strategic communications, Public Relations and digital PR. He has participated as a lecturer at several colleges and private events (Coca Cola, Entrepreneur Week, DHL, etc). He has a Bachelor’s Degree from ITESM, a Master’s Degree from EAE in Spain, several certificates on Digital Marketing, Disruptive Strategy and Innovation from Columbia Business School, Harvard Business School and the MIT. He is father of two little girls and minority owner of the NFL’s Green Bay Packers.

Jodi Echakowitz, Founder and CEO of Boulevard Public Relations – Canada

Jodi Echakowitz began her career in public relations with progressively senior in-house roles at technology startups and emerging growth companies. Leveraging her client-side experience working with some of the world’s largest PR agencies, she launched Boulevard PR in 2001. Today, under her leadership, Boulevard is recognized as one of the top B2B technology PR agencies in Canada, is valued as a strategic and long-term partner by clients, and has grown consistently through referral. Jodi is also an angel investor in women-founded technology startups and an advisor to several business accelerators that support early-stage companies.

Richard Postins, Founder and CEO of Prova – the UK

As founder and CEO of Prova, Richard has delivered powerful communications and behavioural change campaigns for some of the world’s most renowned brands spanning the automotive, cleantech and environmental sectors. Acting as ambassador for the EU’s Climate KIC innovation community, Richard has taken British clean energy innovation to the global stage. In the UK, he is an esteemed public speaker and regularly shares a stage with leading environment ministers at national cleantech summits. With significant experience taking businesses from inception to exit, Richard also runs Prova’s investment division, which comprises a unique portfolio of fast-growth cleantech businesses. Prior to founding Prova, Richard held the role of international director at Citigate, a leading financial and corporate communications consultancy.

Sarah Song, Managing Director at INTEGRA Communications – South Korea

Sarah has worked in the PR industry more than 25 years. Prior to establishing Integra, she worked as a PR manager for Accenture Seoul for six years. At Integra, she has managed communications activities for the CVC arbitration issue, Oaktree, Bain Capital transactions issues, Deutsche Asset Management-REFF, Macquarie IBG, and Bank of America. Sarah specializes in M&As, issues management, litigation issues, and crisis management.
